The Equality Act 2010 makes it an offence for an employer to discriminate against employees and agency workers on the grounds of disability. However employment opportunities for many disabled people are few and far between for various reasons such as some employers not realising how or where to place vacancy opportunities, what government assistance is available to assist disabled employees in work, attitudinal awareness and environmental access.
Employers differ in their size, nature of business, location and policies and what we do is advise employers depending on their particular status.
